Welcome to the 40th Special Operations Command!!!
The 40th SOC was founded in 2017 by members of the 27th Virtual Fighter Wing. Our members consist of military aviation enthusiasts, and we fly missions in a relaxed mil-sim environment.
Weekly Missions
We fly weekly missions every Saturday night at 7PT/10ET. Missions are created by one of our experienced mission designers, and take place on our private dedicated servers.
What makes the 40th different?
Fly what you want
Our weekly missions incorporate many of the available DCS World modules, and our members often fly different aircraft from week to week. Members are NOT expected to specialize in one airframe.
Rich campaign storylines and missions
Each of our Saturday night missions is part of a larger narrative, often stretching for a month or more. Our mission creators strive to keep things fresh, with new campaign concepts being introduced on a regular basis.
PVP night and public server raids
Friday nights are reserved for casual PVP battles on our dedicated servers, or ad-hoc missions on a public PVP server.
Training Opportunities
The 40th SOC is an active community of experienced sim pilots, and someone is always around to help with 1-1 training. We also conduct organized group training sessions as well as ad-hoc practice on our dedicated training servers.
Code of Conduct
Demonstrate good manners, courtesy and considerations to others
Never attack or question the motives of another member
One person talks at a time, DO NOT try to talk over others, LISTEN to the person speaking
DO NOT dominate conversations, interrupt or participate in side conversations or make disruptive remarks
During missions we expect professionalism from all participants
Disruptive or disrespectful behavior or any other breach of the code of conduct may result in suspension from participation or dismissal from the 40th SOC
The 40th SOC has a zero tolerance policy for abuse, the use of derogatory remarks, personal insults, threats or any form of racism or discrimination.
